Madame Guillotine’s Request Box of DOOM

19 March 2012

The very lovely Kim of Finest Imaginary and Hiphopsideproject, who has been a blogging chum of mine since, oh crikey, the dark days of Live Journal (I MUST tell you all about my time on Live Journal sometime, including the time I got a mention on LJ Drama dot org), said this morning that I should have a suggestion box so readers can request posts about historical things or whatnot that they would like me to give the ever so slightly and mawkishly irreverent Madame Guillotine treatment to.

So here it is. It’s very simple – just leave a comment letting me know what you’d really like to see me post about and I’ll add it to my Very Big List That I Keep In Iphone Notes Of Future Blog Posts, which includes such delights as Althorp, Kensington Palace, Charles II’s mistresses, the Harry Potter studio tour, Empress Alexandra’s wedding dress, Frances Coles, Sherlock Holmes’ mother, the Jack the Ripper Conference and much, much more.

Kim’s already requested a post about the Empress Elisabeth ‘Sisi’ of Austria (in the pipeline now – I have something rather nice up my lacy sleeve) and I’m going to retaliate with a pretty please request for her promised tutorial about making macarons…

What would you like to read about? It doesn’t have to be about historical figures, events, art or places. If you want posts about writing, self publishing, blogging, goth, Paris or Twitter or, really, ANYTHING, then let me know and I’ll put my peony and to scale model of sailing ship bedecked thinking cap on…
